I can sew a button, but how do I ADD one?

Ann Kroeker is hosting Mega Memory Month on her blog.  The idea is to put to memory some long passage (Scripture, a poem, etc.) during the month of January and to encourage others who are joining in doing the same.

I will be working on Ephesians 5 for January.  Last summer I started working on memorizing Ephesians and Lea's Remember in September contest helped me complete Chapter 2 and part of Chapter 3 (not to mention start blogging).  It took all of October and November to finish Chapter 3, and I did Chapter 4 in December.  My method is to add a new verse each day and then review previous verses.  (If you look at previous posts you will see that in actuality this works out to sometimes skipping days and doubling up on other days, or in the case of Chapter 3, taking an inordinate amount of time to complete a section.)

I am loving the accountability and deadline aspect of MMM.  It really seems to help me.

Oh, and there is this really nice button for Mega Memory Month with a coral, which I think is a brain coral, which would be totally appropriate, but I have to figure out how to add a button to a blog.

Yay! I'm so glad you've joined--it's neat to have veteran, experienced memorizers like you on board. I'll add your link to the participants list.

Now, to "grab" the button, just put your cursor on the button or "highlight" it the way you would any text you want to copy-paste. Right click on the mouse, and a menu comes up. Choose "copy." Then return to your post in edit mode, pick the spot you want to see that beautiful brain-shaped coral MMM button, make sure your cursor is flashing at the appointed spot, and right click again. The menu appears. Click "paste."

The button *should* appear.

(If it doesn't come up, let me know and I'll email you the html and you can cut and paste it from the e-mail into your blog using the html mode.)
