One Hundreth Post and Chapter Five Completed

It seems like a fitting pair, doesn't it?  One hundred posts and 5 chapters...

Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

I am not really tackling all of these today, just v. 14.  I was a little behind in posting.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

I love this  1828 version of Webster's dictionary.  Its definitions include several literary and biblical references and quotes for illustrative purposes.  Now to look up disapprobation...

One Hundred

I am doubling up today, memorizing verses 9 and 10, to be able to make it all the way through chapter 5 by the end of January.  Verse 10 is the 100th verse in Ephesians.  God is so good.  I am overwhelmed that I have come this far.  God is faithful and loving and full of grace.  Through the washing of His Word He is changing me.  Deep inside He is changing me, and I am absolutely overwhelmed.  Maybe one day I will write about that.  

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
